We are a studio and teaching space that focuses on creating beautiful handmade pieces and providing pottery lessons to both children and adults

WHAT WE DO

The Pottery is a studio, store, and teaching space. We create quality handmade functional and decorative pieces, which you can see in our online store, as well as custom pieces for individuals and movie sets. We offer 10-week lessons and 2-hour workshops for adults, as well as summer camps for children. The Pottery provides workshops for schools, social service agencies, pottery guilds, and even corporate teams.

ABOUT PAUL

Paul Stewart first became interested in Pottery as a teenager after helping with his own father's pottery business. Nearly 40 years and a quarter of a million handmade pots later, Paul is excited to be teaching at The Pottery's location in the west end of Toronto and holding workshops for schools, social service agencies and businesses.

The beginners class with Paul was a phenomenal experience, he was such a wonderful instructor, with a great sense of humour and genuine care for helping the students. We had a blast and can’t wait to see how the pieces turn out!

My wife and I have used our set of dishes from The Pottery every day for over 20 years and they still look like new. Excellent product!

As well as the functional pieces showcased on this website, Paul Stewart creates beautiful hand-crafted decorative pieces on his second website, www.paulstewartceramics.com. If you are an interior designer or are looking to decorate your home, take a look at some of the decorative pieces available.
